Screen Shot 2014-08-13 at 13.03.21Organisers of the Festival Supplier Awards have today announced that Eve, the UK’s biggest supplier of temporary access products, will be the headline sponsor for the first ever Awards this October.

“Eve is delighted to be supporting the inaugural Festival Supplier Awards. As a major supplier to festivals throughout the UK, we are aware of the hard work that goes into making these events a success. This includes the companies who design and run these events, through to infrastructure companies such as ourselves.” Commented Nigel Quinn, Eve’s Managing Director.

“It is important to recognise the efforts of companies and individuals across the festival industry who regularly go above and beyond the call of duty to make the events what they are. The industry evolves for the better year on year, and we are proud to be involved in these Awards.”

He added. Eve recently invested £14 million to ensure it was able to service more customers through the busy summer period, protecting sites and festival-goers alike. They play a key role in the festival supply chain; with their excellent customer service record, attention to detail and meticulous project management, they are exactly what we want our awards to stand for.” The judging panel for the awards includes Nic Howden, All Access Communications; Lee House, senior events manager for Coventry City Council; Dan Craig, head of operations at Loudsound; Hannah Farnham, Live Nation’s head of production and events (UK) Music; Colin Rodgers, head of event management; DF Concerts and Events and David McCalmont, head of production, MAMA Group. Winners will be announced at a black tie dinner at Newbury Showground, October 22nd, at the end of the first day of the Showman’s Show.
