Unsung Hero
We all know that working in festivals and outdoor events can be challenging; the long hours, pressure to deliver, tight timescales, difficult sites and the inclement weather.
For the first time in 2019 the Festival Supplier Awards will recognise the unsung heroes in our industry. Every company who makes the shortlist will be invited to nominate an individual from within their organisation who they feel stands out from the crowd. They will be asked to submit 300 words that explain why the individual should receive the accolade of Unsung Hero and this will form part of the overall judging process.
The six individuals who receive the highest scores will be shortlisted and it will then be put to a public vote in January, with the winner announced on the night of the awards.

Who is the individual in your organisation who goes above and beyond the call duty? Whether it is volunteering to tackle the unpleasant tasks, taking on the job that is most tricky or simply always being reliable and delivering great customer service.
Please submit 300 words detailing why you think your company’s nominated individual should receive the Unsung Hero award at the Festival Supplier Awards 2019. Please remember that this information will be used during the public voting process.
